Telecom Solutions - Technology Integration

What does it  mean to “integrate”?

-          Verb (used with object)
-          1. To bring together or incorporate parts into a whole
-          2. To make up, combine, or complete to produce a whole or larger unit

To our customers, integrate means something very specific – take my problem and turn it into a solution.  At Telamon, we have years of experience solving these types of problems.  It starts with a question – Can you put “X” type of equipment and put it all into “Y” cabinet or rack?  Yes, we can….

However, first that takes detailed analysis of the specifications of the equipment – size, heat/air flow requirements, power consumption – as well as the specifications of the cabinet housing – indoor/outdoor rated, size, air flow features and design and the customer specific standards and practices – required battery backup time, alarming, etc.

Next, Telamon will use our design engineering expertise to properly situate the product and include additional parts that are required for alarming and safety such as breaker panels and monitoring systems.  All of these need to have CAD drawings prepared for the interconnecting wiring – copper, fiber, etc. - that will need to be performed.  This is a critical piece of the process as our customers demand that once the design is approved, they expect the product to come to them exactly this way every time.

Once the equipment has been wired together, we do extensive testing to make sure that all of the products are working to the specification.  This is an important step as well as our customers will want to install this integrated piece into their networks with the expectation it will perform flawlessly from the beginning.

So what are these “products” we keep mentioning and who makes them?  In a nutshell, these are the products that keep our telephone and data networks alive. We have vast experience with manufacturers such as AlcatelLucent, Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, Fujitsu, Ericsson, Emerson, Westell, Purcell and many others familiar to those in the telecommunications industry.

A direct byproduct of our “Integration” is the ability to stock and distribute these products and completed packages to our customers in a very timely manner.  With many locations nationwide, we are able to deliver quickly and cost effectively.

Let us know if we can solve your problems!
