Telamon Medical Solutions (TMS) unveiled its statwatch application at the 4th Annual Indiana Black Barbershop Health Initiative event. On March 27, the TMS team kitted over 50 tablets and peripherals and delivered them to the Indiana Statehouse to help administer the kickoff to the Indiana Commission on the Social Status of Black Males annual event. Over 20 community partners throughout the state of Indiana participated in train-the-trainer sessions provided by the TMS team to gear up for the day of the event. Participants were screened using statwatch at over 50 black barbershops within 13 cities throughout Indiana on Saturday, April 5. The TMS statwatch application was used to automate and digitize the screening process by allowing participants to register for the event using a tablet while having their biometric readings taken and transferred via Bluetooth to the tablet in real-time.
